Pasco County Scholarship Database provides information and resources for many student scholarship opportunities. Carefully review each scholarship before beginning your application. Be sure to click ‘Full LIsting Link” at the top of the page. Although most of the scholarships listed target students in the 12th grade, there are some opportunities for students in additional grades. This database is updated frequently, so check back often.
Nationwide Scholarship Search Websites – There are many scholarship opportunities on national search websites. Here you can find a list of websites that offer search services for additional scholarships,
FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) You will need to complete the FAFSA form to apply for federal student aid such as federal grants, work-study funds, and loans. Completing and submitting the FAFSA form is free and easier than ever, and it gives you access to federal student aid—the largest source of aid— to help you pay for college or career/trade school. In addition, many states and colleges use your FAFSA information to determine your eligibility for state and school aid. Some private aid providers may use your FAFSA information to determine whether you qualify for their aid.
BigFuture When you complete one or more qualifying steps on BigFuture, you’ll be automatically entered into monthly drawings for $500 or $40,000 until February of your senior year. You can begin in your sophomore year. You will need a College Board account. If you don’t have one, you can click here to create one. Be sure to use or create a professional-sounding email as this will be used throughout your high school years.
Bold.org Although Bold.org is smaller than other platforms, it provides you the best chance of winning. It offers a robust student profile to ensure you look great for scholarship panels, and it provides funding exclusive to the platform, which means lower competition.
Fastweb Fastweb offers a convenient and efficient way to access various scholarships and save preferred ones. Additionally, Fastweb provides students and parents with valuable resources to assist them in navigating the college journey.
CareerOneStop Careeronestop, sponsored by the US Department of Labor, stands out among other platforms due to its extensive range of resources for scholars. These resources include scholarships and other forms of educational and financial assistance.
