UPDATE - Schools closed for students through May 1.  School will resume virtually for students on Tuesday, March 31. Please visit our new coronavirus website for additional information.

Starting in August all JIEC students will wear our new student shirt on instructional days.

Dear James Irvin Families,

We hope that you and your family are having a relaxing and restful summer.  The James Irvin staff is already looking forward to another exciting new year of serving your family. With the school year quickly approaching, we wanted to reach out to you about a major change in our school’s dress code policy for the 2019-20 school year.

This year all James Irvin students will be required to wear a JIEC student t-shirt.  JIEC student shirts come in both black and grey and sport our school logo.  This mandatory requirement will begin with our first day of school on August 12th.  Any student without a JIEC student shirt beginning the first day of school will be considered out of dress code and be subject to disciplinary action including but not limited to in-school suspension and referrals.

To help you and your family be ready for this new dress code policy, we will be selling student shirts during our registration day August 6th from 8:00 am till 3:00 pm. At our registration event, you will be able to purchase shirts the discounted price of 3 for $10.  If you choose to wait until the first week of school to purchase shirts, they will be available for the standard price of $5 per shirt.

If you have any questions about the new policy, please feel free to call the school at (813) 794-5700.
